A. J. Bodzick
Rites Friday

Services for Alexander J. Bodzick, 68, of Petoskey, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.

He died this morning at Little Traverse Hospital.

Mr. Bodzick was born December 4, 1903 in Manor, Pennsylvania and came to the Larks Lake area as a young man with his parents.

On November 11, 1927 he married Alma Townsend in Petoskey and they moved to a farm in Resort Twp. where they had made their home since.

Mr. Bodzick was employed at Penn-Dixie for 19 years, then he spent 10 years at the Manthel Mills, retiring in 1966.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Marian) Cosens, of Petoskey, Mrs. Phillip (Beatrice) Clark, of Grand Rapids and Stella Bodzick, also of Grand Rapids; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley of Levering and Joseph, of Harbor Springs and two sisters, Mrs. Leon (Mary) Muchals, of Chicago, Ill. and Mrs. Cecelia Johnson, of Gary, Ind.

A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8 p.m. at the Stone Funeral Home where friends may begin to call this evening.
