Petoskey News-Review, Tuesday, December 2, 1986:
Burrell C. King, 86, of Harbor Springs, died Nov. 20, 1986, at Petoskey Geriatric Village.
Funeral will be 7:30 p.m. today at the Eckerle-Lintz Funeral Home, Indian River under the auspices of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Indian River.
Mr. King was born May 20, 1900, in Petoskey and he lived in Northern Michigan all his life.
On Feb. 23, 1954, he married the former Verda Hartung.
Mr. King was a life member of the Cochrane-Roberts Post No. 7439, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by: his wife; three sons, Wilber King and Bernard King, both of Indian River and Richard King of Saginaw; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
