(August 22, 1949 - March 28, 2009)
Thomas J. Radle, 59 of Alanson, passed away March 28, 2009, at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 31st at 4:00 pm at the Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey with Pastor Leroy Sutfin officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Township Cemetery.
Mr. Radle was born August 22, 1949, in Petoskey, MI., the son of James E. and Ardith J. (Fineout) Radle. On September 2, 1978, he married the former Irene Merrill in Petoskey. The couple made their home in Alanson.
Mr. Radle was a veteran of Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Army. He had been employed as a supervisor at Northern Die Cast for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Jerry Radle of Manhattan, KS, James Radle of Omaha, NE, Thomas (Sara) Radle of Alanson, MI; two daughters Kelly (Jess) Coon of Simpsonville, SC, April Merrill of Alanson, MI; 6 grandchildren Ashley Coon, Rachel Coon, David Coon, Josie Radle, Alexandra Radle, Megan Graves; two brothers Ronald (Debbie) Radle of Petoskey, MI, and Robert Radle of Levering, MI; two sisters Dora (Mitch) Saxton of Traverse City, Ml, Barb Phillips of Petoskey, MI; sister-in-law, Pam Radle of Levering and several nieces and nephews to whom he was very close.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ardith Radle; two brothers Andrew Radle, Mike Radle.
