Petoskey News-Review, Thursday, 12 Jun 1986:
Alma Bodzick, 78, of Petoskey, died June 12, 1986, at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey. The Rev. Hugolinus Kiener will officiate and burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Petoskey.
The former Alma Townsend was born May 13, 1908, in Petoskey. She attended school in Petoskey and has been a lifelong resident of the area.
On Nov. 11, 1927, she married Alex Bodzick in Petoskey. He died Aug. 9, 1972.
Mrs. Bodzick was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. John (Marian) Cosens of Petoskey, Mrs. Phillip (Beatrice) Clark of Grand Rapids and Stella Bodzick of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Lyda Webb, of Lansing; several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Stone Funeral Home where friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 13 and where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
